Wir möchten unserer grossen Enttäuschung mit der «Basler Umzug GmbH» Ausdruck verleihen. Vor dem Umzug haben Sie unsere alte Wohnung besichtigt. Wir haben ihnen angeboten die neue Wohnung ebenfalls in Augenschein zu nehmen, aber darauf wurde nicht eingegangen. Jemand hat sich aber angeblich das Haus von aussen angeschaut. Wir haben Ihnen von Anfang an mitgeteilt, dass die neue Wohnung im Dachgeschoss (6. Stock) liegt und ein Möbellift nötig sein wird. Auf dieser Basis haben Sie uns ein Angebot gemacht auf welches wir eingegangen sind. Am Umzugstag stellte sich dann heraus das, obwohl der Vertreter angeblich das Haus in Augenschein genommen hatte, der Möbellift zu kurz war!!! Als Resultat musste alles über den internen Luft und die Treppen hochtransportiert werden, was natürlich viel, viel mehr Zeit in Anspruch nahm als geplant. Hinzu kommt, dass sie die Möbel teilweise nicht korrekt gesichert hatten und wir hatten einige Schäden (Kratzer und eine Schranktür, die nicht mehr richtig schliesst). Sie haben auch eine Glaskugel von einer Lampe zerstört ohne uns dies zu sagen. Glücklicherweise haben wir es selber bemerkt. Am Ende mussten wir dann nicht nur mit ihnen über den Preis streiten (sie wollten uns die gesamte zusätzliche Zeit, den ihr Fehler gekostet hat, in Rechnung stellen) sondern wir haben auch einen beschädigten Schrank. Bezahlt haben sie nur die Glaskugel. Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn: wir raten davon ab der «Basler Umzug Gmbh» mit dem Umzug zu beauftragen. We would like to voice our highest disappointment with the moving company “Basler Umzug GmbH”. Before the move, I've met with a representative, showing him the old flat and discussing all the details. The offer to also show the new flat was rejected, but supposedly somebody took a look at the block from outside. We had informed them that the new flat was on the top (6th) floor and that we would need an external furniture elevator. Based on this they made us an offer and we decided to sign the contract. Then moving day came around... and it turned out, that even though their rep took a look at the location and should have known exactly what kind of furniture lift would be needed, the one they brought was too short!!! As a result, they had to transport everything via internal lift and the stairs - which, of course, took MUCH more time than it would’ve taken with the lift! Additionally, they didn't secure all the furniture properly and as a result some of it was damaged (scratches on the surface and the closet door won't close properly anymore!!!). They also destroyed one glass ball from our lamp, which they didn't tell us about... luckily we noticed it ourselves. In the end we not only had quarrel with them about the payment (they wanted to charge us for all the extra time their failure to bring a proper furniture lift cost) but we also have some damaged furniture. They paid us for the destroyed lamp only.
