Our move has been a nightmare thanks to EH Umzüge. From 4 offers we got they were the cheapest with an offer of ca. 2200€. 2000€ cheaper than the others. We found this weird and called to check because there is a long distance between the door of the apartment we were leaving and the place the truck could park. We got told that this was already considered, it’s all fine. We ask that they would bock the parking in front of the new apartment, it is added to the offer : 2300€. A dream, so we take it! Then came the Day, and my nightmare began. They arrived, 3 instead of 4 (the offer said 4 people) and with more than 3 hours delay to tell us, that the distance between the apartment and the truck is too big they can’t do it for that price! So basically we received a new price: 4900€ to pay cash now, or they go away without doing the moving (the day of the move!, and the bill keep saying 4 people). Feeling of being racketeered, check! We pay, they do the move with a quality that can be discussed (and I have the picture of one of the guys sprawled on my desk chair watching videos on his mobile). The next day to get our stuff back, again late. Parking not blocked despite we paid for that (they told us that “we” should have checked). This time 4 people, or most likely a 4th guy said Hello to me but I never saw him after that. They broke some stuffs (but they refuse to pay for it). Ah and one yelled on me because I said I wanted all the boxes in the biggest room (I told them) and he was unhappy I didn’t write what was in each box. Fantastic, almost 5000€ for getting yelled at, having stuffs broken and being told I should check that they are doing what I paid them for. Conclusion, run away!
